GAME RECAP

Ray Allen scored 20 points in three quarters as the Milwaukee Bucks cruised to their biggest victory ever over the Orlando Magic, 110-76.

Terrell Brandon added 15 points and Glenn Robinson 10 for the Bucks (2-1), who maintained a double-digit lead over the final three quarters and led by 38 points in the fourth quarter.

Penny Hardaway scored 16 points and Bo Outlaw added 12 for the Magic (1-2).

"We played the way we were supposed to play," Robinson said. "I remember a couple of years ago when they came in here and beat us by forty or so. Tonight was fun. This is our style of play."

Milwaukee led by two points midway through the first quarter before Michael Curry made a pair of free throws with 4:44 remaining to ignite a 12-0 run. Curry had six points in the burst, which Brandon capped with a steal and dunk for a 28-14 advantage with 1:22 left in the period.

The Bucks poured it on the second quarter. Tyrone Hill's two free throws with 56 seconds remaining in the half gave them a 57-37 advantage.

Leading by 18 points early in the third period, the Bucks turned it into a laugher behind Allen. He had a layup to ignite a 13-0 spurt which he fueled with six points. His free throw capped the run and gave Milwaukee a 74-43 bulge with 4:53 left in the quarter.

"This is the best Milwaukee team I've seen in many years," Orlando coach Chuck Daly said. "They are well-coached and had an impressive night. The Bucks showed us no resistance. Unfortunately, I saw nothing positive from my team."

The Bucks emptied the bench from there, as six players entered and played at least 12 minutes. Rookie Jerald Honeycutt's three-point play gave Milwaukee its largest lead at 93-55 with 9:32 to go.

"We have very unselfish players that allow us to be a better team and it showed tonight," Allen said. "Everyone from the starters to the guys off the bench stepped up. It was contagious."

Armon Gilliam and Elliot Perry each had 12 points off the bench for the Bucks, who shot 53 percent (44-for-83) from the floor and held a 44-37 rebounding advantage.

Derek Strong finished with 10 points for Orlando, which shot 37 percent (28-of-75).
