Sacramento (14-9) at LA Clippers (7-18) 10:30 PM EST ---------------------------------------------------------------- LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Clippers hope to have coach Chris Ford back on the sidelines tonight as they host the Sacramento Kings.

Tyrone Nesby had 28 points and nine rebounds and Lamar Odom added 22, 11, seven assists and seven blocks as the Clippers hung on for a 103-99 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

The Clippers won despite the absence of Ford, who missed the game with back spasms. Ford was replaced by assistant Jim Todd, who last coached a game at Salem State in 1996.

Los Angeles has won three of five games after a season-high nine-game skid, including a thrilling come-from-behind 92-91 victory over the Warriors on Friday.

The Clippers are the third-worst team in the Western Conference and moved one game ahead of the Warriors in the battle to avoid the Pacific Division cellar.

Jason Williams scored a career-high 28 points as the Sacramento Kings returned to early season form, snapping a season-high three-game losing streak with an impressive 108-95 rout of the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Williams' effort helped the Kings overcome the absence of leading scorer and rebounder Chris Webber, who sat out his second straight game with a strained neck. His status for tonight is unknown.

Since starting the season 9-1, the Kings went 4-8 over their next 12 to fall within six games of the first-place Los Angeles Lakers in the Pacific Division.

Los Angeles went 2-1 against Sacramento last season, winning the latter two games.
