Game StorySACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Chris Webber collected 29 points and 13 rebounds and the Sacramento Kings sut down the Chicago Bulls in the second half en route to a 100-71 victory, sweeping the season series for the second straight year.
Webber was his usual unstoppable self as he made 12-of-21 shots and handed out five assists while working primarily against co-Rookie of the Year Elton Brand.
The All-Star forward hardly showed the effects of a sprained ankle that forced him to miss Sacramento's last game six days ago.
Despite Webber's dominance, the Kings held just a two-point lead midway through the third quarter. But they held the Bulls to 18 points over the final 18 minutes as they matched their biggest victory margin of the season.
Peja Stojakovic added 13 points for the Kings, who had five players in double figures and shot 48 percent (39-of-81) while holding the Bulls below 35 percent (29-of-83).
Brand had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which fell to 0-6 on its seven-game road trip. The Bulls lost 100-81 at home to Sacramento on opening night and have not beaten the Kings since February 28, 1998, the season of their last championship.
