Game StoryCHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls beat the Boston Celtics at their own game.
Rookie Trenton Hassell's 3-pointer with 47 seconds remaining put the Bulls ahead for good as they snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 105-100 triumph over the Celtics.
Hassell made four 3-pointers as the Bulls connected on 50 percent (10-of-20) of their shots from the arc. None was bigger than his last one, which broke a 100-100 tie.
Hassell came off a screen and fired a shot from the top of the key that banked off the glass and sent the United Center crowd into a frenzy.
The Celtics have had success from the beyond the arc during their first winning season since 1992-93. They entered with a league-leading 355 3-pointers were 13-of-39 in this game. But Antoine Walker's attempt from long range rimmed out with three seconds left, the Bulls grabbed the rebound and Travis Best sealed the win with two free throws.
Marcus Fizer had 21 points for Chicago, while Walker led all scorers with 33 for Boston.
