Game StoryCHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic finally are through with a road trip they would rather forget. Jalen Rose had 28 points and eight assists and Donyell Marshall and Marcus Fizer scored 15 points each as the Chicago Bulls rolled to a 107-87 victory over the Magic, who completed a winless three-game trip. Orlando had won five of its previous six games before beginning a stretch of playing seven of eight games on the road Saturday. After stumbling to a 33-point loss at New Jersey, the Magic lost in overtime at Boston on Monday and were embarrassed by the lowly Bulls. Rose scored 12 points in the first half and Fizer added 10 as Chicago seized control with a 38-15 run bridging the first and second quarters. "I was really happy with the way we came out and focused on them," Bulls coach Bill Cartwright said. "We locked in on their players and locked in on their action. We are a lot more focused now." "It was important for us to get on them fast," Fizer said. "We knew they were going to be tired. It's nice to see the shoe on the other foot." The game was tied, 18-18, before the Bulls scored 11 of the final 15 points in the first quarter. Fizer scored eight points as Chicago opened the second quarter with a 27-11 run. Jamal Crawford buried two free throws to give the Bulls their largest lead, 56-33 with 2:32 remaining. Orlando never got closer than nine in the second half and lost for the sixth time in its last eight road games. "We played like we were running on fumes," said Orlando coach Doc Rivers, whose team played for the third time in four nights. "Give the Bulls credit, they were the better team tonight. We need to play through these things and learn how to win." Rookie Jay Williams scored 13 points and Crawford had nine of his 12 if the first half for the Bulls, who shot 54 percent (38-of-71) and snapped a six-game losing streak against the Magic. "They had a lot of open shots, we were scrambling on defense," Orlando's Tracy McGrady said. "Those guys just came out and attacked us. They were knocking down shots. It was really tough for us." Chicago has won two straight following a nine-game losing streak. McGrady had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Pat Garrity added 17 points for Orlando, which shot just 35 percent (30-of-85) from the floor, including 7-of-28 from 3-point range. The Magic had averaged more than 100 points per game during the first month of the season but have been held under 100 in each of their last six games.
