Game StoryMILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Jermaine O'Neal tied a season high with 30 points, including the first four in overtime, as the Indiana Pacers wrapped up a six-game road trip with a 126-119 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. O'Neal sent the game to overtime when he made a pair of free throws with 15.6 seconds left to tie it at 114-114. O'Neal, who came into the game shooting a personal-high 74 percent from the line for the season, went a career-best 14-of-16 on his foul shots. "I looked around and people didn't look too positive," O'Neal said. "The guys, the coach, no one was really looking at me. I knew when I stepped to the line that I was going to make those free throws. "It's just about taking my time, taking the full 10 seconds. To be effective in the post, I have to hit my free throws." O'Neal also was the game's top rebounder, pulling down 13 boards. "We always talked about him being one of the best players in the league," Pacers coach Isiah Thomas said. "Right now he is playing like the MVP of this league. He is scoring, rebounding and making his free throws. I don't think you can find a guy right now playing better basketball. "Every time he got inside he was patient enough to make a move or get to the free-throw line. Jermaine carried us down the stretch." Jamaal Tinsley had 21 points and seven assists but nearly cost the Pacers the game late in the fourth quarter. After a ball went out of bounds and was awarded to the Bucks, Tinsley was called for a technical. Ray Allen made the free throw and Sam Cassell hit a jump shot off the ensuing inbounds pass to give Milwaukee a 114-112 lead before O'Neal hit his free throws. "We can beat any team in this league," said Bucks guard Michael Redd, who scored 14 points. "We just need to learn how to finish off games." Allen fouled out late in overtime after leading the Bucks with 26 points - 11 in the fourth quarter and overtime. The Bucks had six players score in double figures. Milwaukee, which had blown 21-point leads in back-to-back games, came back from 12 points down in the first half before falling. The Bucks played an extra session for the second consecutive game after a 140-133 double-overtime win at Cleveland on Monday. The Pacers have won their last three meetings with the Bucks, all in overtime.
