Game StoryPHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Glenn Robinson, Shareef Abdur-Rahim and the Atlanta Hawks continue to be a major pain for the Philadelphia 76ers. Robinson tied a season high with 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Abdur-Rahim added 20 and 11 as the lowly Hawks handed the 76ers a damaging 114-105 setback. "We made shots and defended well," said Robinson, who shot 13-of-20. "I just took shots when I was open. Once I got going, I was able to go 1-on-1." Dion Glover added 18 points and Jason Terry 17 for the Hawks, who shot 54 percent (38-of-70) en route to their third win in as many tries against the Sixers this season. "We've played three good games," Hawks coach Terry Stotts said. "We've played well against them, and you have to play well against them. Last time we caught them they were in a downward trend. So the win tonight meant a little bit more because they've been the hottest team since the All-Star break." The Hawks trailed by as many as 11 points in the second quarter but climbed within one at halftime. Robinson produced 16 points in the third period, including a 16-foot jumper that began the scoring and gave Atlanta the lead for good. "When they got their lead in the beginning of the third quarter, all we took were outside jump shots," Sixers coach Larry Brown said. "I thought that was the most critical period in the game, the way we started the second half." Atlanta led by 11 points midway through the third quarter before Philadelphia climbed within 87-86 on a layup by Aaron McKie with 8:50 to play. But Robinson countered with a jumper and the Sixers got no closer than two points thereafter. Allen Iverson, who scored a season-low five points in Thursday's loss at Detroit, had 27 and 12 assists and Derrick Coleman added 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Sixers, who had not lost consecutive games since February 2-5. Philadelphia, which had a seven-game home winning streak snapped, fell one game behind first-place New Jersey in the Atlantic Division. "Coach said before the game that we were right there at the top, and you lose a couple of games and you're right there at the bottom and you could end up in ninth or 10th place," Iverson said. "It's true, and that's the frustrating thing." The Hawks are in 11th place, 5 1/2 games behind Milwaukee for the East's last playoff spot. "We're still playing hard basketball," Robinson said. "If we can beat Philly, that means that we can be one of the top teams in the East. We want to go out and make a push in these final games and show everybody that we are a playoff team. I think we're going to make it." "That team has nothing has to lose, and those are the hardest teams to beat because they're playing just to play," Iverson said. "They're going all-out and they are trying to mess up what we're trying to do. That's still no excuse - you're still supposed to get them."
