Game StorySALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Matt Harpring and Raja Bell made sure the New York Knicks did not come all the way back from a 19-point third-quarter deficit. Harpring and Bell combined to score 11 consecutive fourth-quarter points as the Utah Jazz handed the Knicks a sixth straight defeat, 95-73. Harpring collected 22 points and nine rebounds and Greg Ostertag added a season-high 16 and 12 for the Jazz, who had six players score in double figures as they improved to 11-2 at home. The Jazz were coming off a 102-80 setback to Boston on Monday that snapped a five-game winning streak at the Delta Center. "It was a lot better (than Monday)," Ostertag said. "We didn't back down, we just stayed in there, we held our ground. We didn't let anyone push us off. We were able to set screens, we just all had good games. That's what we've been doing and got back to tonight." Utah went on a 16-0 run bridging the second and third quarters to take a 60-41 lead before New York pulled within 70-64 on a 3-pointer by Shandon Anderson with 8:41 left. But Harpring countered with a layup and a jumper, Bell made a layup, Harpring sank a pair of free throws and Bell nailed a 3-pointer to make it 81-64 with 4:18 remaining and put the game out of reach. "We let up a little bit, but we felt like we had control of the game," Harpring said. "We looked like we played a game tonight," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said. "We've got to play with enthusiasm to try to be effective, and a lot of guys played hard." Anderson scored 16 points to pace the Knicks, who were playing a third straight game without start guard Allan Houston (sore right knee). New York, which capped a winless five-game road trip and dropped its sixth straight game away from Madison Square Garden, shot just 35 percent (28-of-79) from the field and was outscored in the paint, 46-20. "When you go out on the road and don't win, it's kind of hard to go back home and say that you accomplished something," Knicks coach Don Chaney said. "You gotta win - it's about winning." Both teams committed 18 turnovers, but the Jazz had 24 assists and the Knicks just 15. "We were just starting to play some good Knick basketball, and then right before we go on this road trip, we definitely slipped," said New York forward Kurt Thomas, who had 10 points on 5-of-16 shooting. "And then not picking up a win here and losing six straight is tough. We've definitely got to regroup and look at the things we were doing when we were successful out there on the floor - sharing the ball with each other and not turning the ball over." Andrei Kirilenko had 10 points and 12 rebounds and Raul Lopez 12 and a career-best nine for the Jazz, who outrebounded the Knicks, 49-37, and held a 25-13 advantage in second-chance points. Lopez also had a career high-tying nine assists.
