Game StoryCLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Steve Francis came alive in the fourth quarter to help the Houston Rockets snap a three-game losing streak. Francis scored seven of his 18 points in a decisive run to lead the Rockets to a 89-85 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. With 5:21 left, rookie LeBron James beat the shot clock with a long jump shot to put the Cavaliers up, 78-71. But Francis started a 12-point surge for the Rockets with a 3-pointer at the other end. James got Cleveland within 87-85 on a long 3-pointer off the glass with 9.8 seconds left. Francis answered with a pair of free throws to ice the game. "Not to take anything away from Cleveland, but we haven't done that in a while," Francis said of the late surge. "It's not about me thinking shot first. It's more important for me getting guys involved." Francis dished out nine assists and committed only one turnover to remain effective on a night when he shot just 6-of-18 from the floor. "I thought he played real hard," Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy said. "You can play well when you don't shoot well." James scored 11 of his 17 points in the second half. Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 19 points for the Cavaliers, who have lost three in a row and 12 of 14. The three players the Cavaliers acquired in Monday's deal with the Boston Celtics made positive debuts. Tony Battie scored 14 points and Eric Williams and Kedrick Brown each chipped in 11. "I wanted them to shoot," Cleveland coach Paul Silas said. "They're just good basketball players. They are going to help us win a lot of ballgames." Cuttino Mobley, who put the Rockets ahead to stay at 79-78 on a 3-pointer with four minutes left, scored 18 points. "The big three has to come to play, that's all," said Mobley, referring to himself, Francis and center Yao Ming, who had 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks. "And we came to play tonight." Maurice Taylor and Eric Piatkowski also provided a spark for Houston off the bench, scoring 14 and 10 points, respectively.
