Game StorySACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Peja Stojakovic added some much-need offense to an otherwise ugly game. Stojakovic scored 20 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Sacramento Kings catch fire down the stretch en route to a 98-89 victory over the Utah Jazz. Both teams were struggling to make baskets in a game that featured 62 fouls and 72 free throws, but Stojakovic found a way - as he has all season. He made 5-of-7 shots from the floor, including 3-of-4 3-pointers, and 7-of-7 free throws in the final 12 minutes. "I think this team has a lot of capable guys to do that," Stojakovic said. "I just got hot in the fourth quarter. I don't know why they didn't go in the first three quarters. When you are a shooter, you just have to keep shooting and hopefully, the shots are going to fall in." "Peja really got the streak going in the fourth quarter, which really saved us," Kings coach Rick Adelman added. "Guys stayed with it and Peja got it going - that's the bottom line." Utah failed to slow Stojakovic, no matter who defended him. "We moved some different guys on him," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said. "He made a couple of tough shots, which he could do. When you take a casual approach to try and go to him out on the perimeter, he's just going to shoot it in your face. He did that two or three times." Sacramento made just 17-of-55 shots in the first three quarters but exploded in the fourth, scoring 34 points on 9-of-15 shooting and making 12-of-15 free throws. The Jazz had a 71-69 edge early in the final period after Raul Lopez made a pair of free throws with 8:07 remaining. But Kings guard Anthony Peeler sank a jumper to spark a 10-0 run. Stojakovic buried a pair of 3-pointers around two free throws by Brad Miller, capping the decisive stretch from the arc with 5:48 left for a 79-71 edge. Sacramento sealed the win from the free-throw line, where it outscored Utah, 35-17. The Kings attempted 41 free throws, making six straight in the final minute, while the Jazz tried 31. "We missed a lot of shots from the free-throw line," Utah forward Andrei Kirilenko said. "We make about 10 more and we win the game." Doug Christie had 23 points and a season-high nine rebounds and was the only other player to score in double figures for Sacramento, which avoided its first three-game losing streak since January 24-28. Kirilenko had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Jazz, who have lost the last five meetings with the Kings. Utah continued its struggles on the road, where it has lost four of its last six games to fall to 4-11.
