Game StoryMILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Michael Redd and the Milwaukee Bucks showed the Phoenix Suns how a good rebuilding process can develop. Redd scored 23 points as Milwaukee posted a 95-87 triumph over Phoenix, snapping a seven-game losing streak against the Suns. The Bucks' previous win against Phoenix came on November 12, 1999. "We're playing well together right now," Redd said. "I'm so happy for this team, we've worked hard in practice all year long. Great things are happening for us." Desmond Mason added 17 points as the Bucks won a season-high fourth straight game and moved three games over .500 (19-16) for the first time this season. Joe Johnson scored 23 points and Shawn Marion added 19 and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who lost for the 12th time in their last 13 road games. "It will be tough," Johnson said. "We are struggling at this point, but we have to stay focused and help the new guys to get the offense down and get some chemistry together." Phoenix was playing its first game since trading All-Star Stephon Marbury, Penny Hardaway and reserve Cesary Trybanski on Monday, deciding to rebuild. The Suns received oft-injured forward Antonio McDyess, point guards Howard Eisley and Charlie Ward, rookie forward Maciej Lampe, the rights to Milos Vujanic, a 2004 first-round pick and a future first-round pick in return. "The trade is going to be beneficial to them down the road right now it's a tough situation," Mason said. "All those guys have to get to know each other, they've got some guys that are now coming off the bench that haven't played much this season. So it will take a little bit of time." McDyess had just four points in his season debut with Phoenix and Eisley added two. Lampe did not play and Ward was waived on Tuesday. Phoenix led, 65-59, with 4:20 left in the third quarter. Milwaukee responded with a 13-0 run to build a 72-65 cushion with 41 seconds remaining. Milwaukee extended its home winning streak to seven games and seems to be doing just fine with its rebuilding process. In the past 18 months the Bucks have traded Ray Allen, Sam Cassell and Glenn Robinson, choosing to start over with younger players like Mason, Redd and rookie T.J. Ford. "We had talented veteran guys that had been playing basketball for a long time so that made it easier for us," Mason said. "You just have to get your head right and get yourself ready to play and try to forget about the trade." Bucks center Dan Gadzuric suffered a strained right patella tendon and left the game with 41 seconds left in the game. Gadzuric is questionable for Milwaukee's next game. Suns rookie point guard Leandro Barbosa scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half, hitting four 3-pointers. But Phoenix trailed, 48-46, at halftime.
