Game StoryATLANTA (Ticker) -- Zach Randolph and the Portland Trail Blazers are looking increasingly comfortable away from the Rose Garden. Randolph contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds as the Trail Blazers beat the Atlanta Hawks, 93-85, for their fourth straight road win. Rasheed Wallace added 20 points, Darius Miles had 16 and Derek Anderson 15 for Portland, which began the season a league-worst 2-16 on the road. "It is a momentum-builder," Anderson said of the win, which capped a perfect three-game trip. "How can you sustain this? That's the key with us. Sheed's more assertive, Zach's more assertive, everybody's picked it up. It just lets you know we can do it." "To win three straight road games after that disheartening loss to Golden State (on Saturday) was good," Portland coach Maurice Cheeks added. "I said then we were a bad basketball team. The guys kind of responded to it. Now we've turned ourselves around." The Trail Blazers trailed, 42-32, before scoring the final five points of the first half and opening the third quarter on a 23-8 run. "I thought we had a lot of opportunities in the first half to build a lead, but turnovers did us in big-time," Hawks coach Terry Stotts said. "I told the team you have to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to you. We paid for that tonight. We had two bad turnovers at the end of the half and that took away our momentum." Atlanta got within 74-72 on a pair of free throws by Shareef Abdur-Rahim with 6:09 to play, but Anderson countered with a 3-pointer 21 seconds later and Portland pulled away. "It was a stepping stone for us," Randolph said. "Everybdoy played great and stepped it up. We have to stay focused and take it game by game." Stephen Jackson scored 15 points to pace Atlanta, which has lost the last five meetings with Portland. Abdur-Rahim added 13 points but had just two after the first quarter. Portland scored 21 points off 20 Atlanta turnovers, while the Hawks scored just 13 off 18 giveaways by the Trail Blazers. "We turned the ball over too much tonight," Abdur-Rahim said. "In the second half, we shot the ball badly. The first half, we didn't do a good job of capitalizing on their mistakes."
