Game StoryPHOENIX (Ticker) -- Not even Rasheed Wallace's ejection or the return of Amare Stoudemire could slow the Portland Trail Blazers. The hot-shooting Trail Blazers scored 68 points in the first half and held on for a 101-97 victory over the Phoenix Suns, who welcomed back Stoudemire. Zach Randolph had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Portland, which won for the fifth time in six games and continued its road resurgence. The last team to win a road game this season, the Trail Blazers also have won five of their last six road games. Wallace was ejected for the 25th time in his career and first time since the 2001-02 season. With Portland holding a 20-point lead midway through the second quarter, the temperamental forward was upset with a call and punched the ball, hitting referee Tony Brothers in the backside. Wallace received a technical foul and began talking to Brothers. An argument ensued and Wallace was tossed. Also playing without forward Ruben Patterson (back strain), the Trail Blazers were unaffected. They shot 64 percent (28-of-44) from the field in the first half, making seven 3-pointers and bolting to a 68-50 lead. Stoudemire, the 2003 NBA Rookie of the Year who had played just five games since December 5 due to ankle and toe injuries, came off the bench to score 21 points. He had a pair of layups down the stretch as the Suns rallied within a basket but got no closer.
