Game StorySACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Peja Stojakovic and Mike Bibby put on a shooting clinic. Stojakovic and Bibby combined to made 14 3-pointers as the Sacramento Kings pulled away for a 115-92 victory over the Denver Nuggets. An All-Star and arguably the NBA's best shooter, Stojakovic scored 35 points on 11-of-21 shooting. But he did his best work from 3-point range, where he went 7-of-11. "I just got a couple good looks in the fourth quarter, running the pick-and-roll with Mike," Stojakovic said. "One time I was wide open because they doubled Mike, but other times I just kept running." Bibby, who was snubbed for an All-Star berth, netted 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting. He went 6-of-8 from beyond the arc and also handed out eight assists. "The shots were just going in tonight for me," he said. "They were keying a lot on Peja and that opened a lot of shots for me." Led by Stojakovic and Bibby, the Kings went 14-of-24 from 3-point range. "Those guys were awesome all night from three," Nuggets center Marcus Camby said. "We were unable to contest them and make them miss. They are such great shooters that most of the time we were just a little bit too late." All-Star Brad Miller added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings, who turned a close game into a rout by outscoring the Nuggets, 34-18, in the fourth quarter. Rookie Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points and Voshon Lenard added 22 for Denver, which has lost its last 15 visits to Sacramento, dating to January 7, 1997. The Nuggets were within 87-83 with 7:18 remaining in the fourth quarter following a dunk by Camby, who collected 10 points and 16 rebounds. But Stojakovic, who did most of his damage with Anthony guarding him, took over, scoring 10 points in a 12-1 run. He hit three 3-pointers in the surge, including one that he turned into a four-point play. "It's hell guarding Peja," Anthony said. "He's gonna run you off every screen. Personally, I thought I was doing a pretty good job on him tonight, trying to get through those screens." Stojakovic scored 15 points in the fourth quarter and Bibby added eight as the Kings made 10-of-14 shots in the period. The Nuggets scored the first 11 points of the third quarter, turning a three-point deficit into a 62-54 lead. But the Kings answered with a 22-8 surge, capped by Vlade Divac's layup for a 76-70 advantage with under two minutes left in the period.
