Game StoryORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic got some late-game heroics from someone other than Tracy McGrady. Tyronn Lue scored eight of Orlando's final 10 points as the Magic defeated the Atlants Hawks at home for the eighth straight time, 101-96. Trailing 96-95 with 59 seconds to play, Orlando tried to find a shot for McGrady, but Atlanta repeatedly denied the NBA's top scorer. McGrady finally found Lue for an open jumper behind the foul line with 44 seconds remaining. On the ensuing possession, Jason Terry's 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down hit the back of the iron and Lue grabbed the rebound. Orlando made four straight free throws to seal the win. "We have confidence in anybody out there on the court," McGrady said. "They doubled up and Ty was the open guy. He has ice water in his veins; he's not afraid to take those big shots." "I'm tired man," Lue said. "My teammates found me, I got some decent looks and knocked them down. This team has a lot of pride. We're better than what our record shows." McGrady led the Magic with 28 points and seven assists. Lue scored 12 of his 20 points in the final quarter and also had six rebounds and six assists for Orlando, which snapped a three-game home losing streak. "Tyronn had an outstanding game in terms of controlling the flow of the game and making big shots," Orlando coach Johnny davis said. "We made that game a little tougher than it should have been at the end, but we made the plays down the stretch." The Hawks were sloppy in the first half, turning the ball over 13 times. The Magic scored seven straight points and led, 53-45, at the half. "They got some layups when we turned the ball over in the first half," Atlanta forward Stephen Jackson said. "Our outlet passes got stolen a lot tonight. I know I turned it over twice trying to inbound the ball." Orlando opened an 11-point lead early in the third quarter, but Atlanta battled back for a 71-71 tie heading into the final period. Juwan Howard collected 16 points and Drew Gooden scored 14 on 6-of-8 shooting for the Magic. Jason Terry scored 21 points and Jackson added 19 for the Hawks, who have lost all three meetings with the Magic this season. Atlanta last won in Orlando on March 8, 1999. "It just came down to Tyronn Lue making two big shots," Terry said. "I put the blame squarely on my shoulders. We are not going to let them sweep us. So however you want to write it, we will be back here in April looking to win that game."
