Game StoryCHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Raja Bell scored six consecutive points in the final 36 seconds to help the Utah Jazz rally from a 22-point deficit for a 107-105 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. Bell, who scored 21 points, nailed a 3-pointer with 18 seconds remaining to cut Charlotte's lead to 105-104. Charlotte's Keith Bogans missed two free throws and Steve Smith fouled Bell, who sank the foul shots to give the Jazz a 106-105 lead. "This was a total effort," Bell added. "We just hung in there until the very end. I'm so proud of the way we played and it shows just how much we have come together as a team." "He came back and took the (3-point) shot," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said. "That's what you like to see happen. He wasn't afraid to take the shot and then he had two free throws and made those." Charlotte had one last opportunity to pull out the win, but Gerald Wallace missed a baseline jumper in the final seconds. "We got the good looks that we wanted to late in the game," Bobcats guard Eddie House said. "But we didn't knock down the shots. The main thing was they scored a lot on the free-throw line. They made their free throws and that was one of the things tonight that we needed to be making." Utah was 31-of-38 from the line while Charlotte was just 28-of-41, including 10 misses in the final period. "We shot 65 percent from the free-throw line," Bobcats coach Bernie Bickerstaff said. "That's the difference in the game. It's that simple. When the game was on the line, they (Utah) made them." The Bobcats made 14-of-16 shots in the first quarter and eventually jumped out to a 44-22 lead early in the second period. Utah (6-1) gradually chipped away at the lead by shooting 17-of-28 in the second and third periods. Carlos Boozer, who had a season-high 34 points and 13 rebounds, scored 16 points in the third period, which ended with the Bobcats holding a 79-74 lead. "They (Bobcats) played a (heck) of a game," Boozer said. "We knew that they were going to play very hard. They are playing for respect and a lot of teams don't respect them. Coach Sloan warned us about that." Andrei Kirilenko scored 13 points for the Jazz while Jarron Collins and Gordon Giricek added 11 apiece. "Tonight's game wasn't great for us," Kirilenko said, "But we found a way to win. It showed the character of our team to pull out the win." Bogans, activated from the injured list Monday, came off the bench to score a career-high 28 points, on 9-of-13 shooting, in his Bobcats debut. House scored 12 of his 17 points in the opening quarter for Charlotte (1-5), which has lost four in row. "It was good for me individually," Bogans said, "But it doesn't matter to me because without the (win), it's good, but it's not that good. We lost a game we should have won."
