Game StorySACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- At this rate, the Houston Rockets never may want to come home. Tracy McGrady scored 22 points and David Wesley added 21 as the Rockets posted their third straight road win over a Western Conference power, a 111-96 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The Rockets, who have won four straight overall, improved to 3-0 on their four-game road trip, also beating Seattle and Phoenix. They next visit Golden State. Houston, which shot 53 percent (43-of-81) from the field, snapped an 11-game losing streak at Arco Arena and moved within one game of Sacramento for fifth place in the West. "We've definitely been a better offensive team (recently)," McGrady said. "We've got guys that can flat out shoot the ball. When those guys are shooting the ball it opens it up for Yao (Ming). We're also doing a great job playing defense." Sacramento won its last two games on last-second shots by Mike Bibby, but Houston was in control throughout in this one, building a 66-52 halftime lead. Bibby was unable to provide any heroics this time, scoring just 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting. Mike James and Jon Barry also contributed off the bench for the Rockets with 20 and 12 points, respectively. James made 7-of-9 shots and Barry 4-of-5. "(David) Wesley, (Mike) James and Jon (Barry) just shot the lights out," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. The three Rockets, acquired in trades during the season, have played a major part in Houston's resurgence. "We give the team a lift, taking the pressure off Tracy a little bit, giving him guys he can pass the ball to," said Wesley, who was 9-of-12 from the field. After trailing by as many as 18 points, the Kings closed to 101-95 on Brian Skinner's dunk with 3:44 left before the Rockets put away the contest with a 7-1 spurt. James capped the run with a 3-pointer as the shot clock expired to make it 108-96 with 1:59 remaining. "Mike has been huge," McGrady said. "When Mike, Jon and myself are out there, you've got to pick your poison because all three of us can shoot. Who are you going to come off?" Sacramento lived - and ultimately died - from the outside, hoisting up 29 3-pointers (11-of-29), one shy of a season high. Peja Stojakovic scored 21 points and Cuttino Mobley contributed 20 for the Kings, who were weakened by the absence of Brad Miller. The starting center is expected to miss at least four weeks after breaking his left leg in practice Saturday. "It's really bad luck for us," Stojakovic said. "We just have to figure out how to play better, figure out what each of us does best on the court." The Kings dropped to 3-5 without Miller, who had missed six games with a bruised right calf.
